Forging

The Centre aims to focus on the technology of forging metals and ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.

It also intends to consider cross-cutting issues that contribute to the development and evolution of processes in the context in which it operates.

In recent years, the activities of the Forgers Committee of the Italian  Association for Metallurgy have grown significantly, both in terms of the number of members and participation in the initiatives promoted. This development testifies to the increasingly central role of the TC in spreading metallurgical culture and promoting excellence in the forging sector at a national and international level.
