The conference fee includes:
• sessions & exhibition attendance
• lunches & refreshments
• conference material
• Conference dinner
• For NON-members, AIM personal membership fee for the second semester of 2026 and the whole of 2027.
Students or retirees will be requested to submit proof of enrollment or retirement while registering.
Accompanying person fee includes lunches & refreshments and tickets for the Confernce dinner.
Participation in the scientific program is not permitted.
Reservations for companions are available only after the conference registration.

Cancellation and refund policy
A refund, less 20% deduction for administrative costs, will be issued for written cancellations received by June 30, 2026. For attendees who notify their cancellation after June 30, 2026, or will not attend the Conference, a charge of 100% of the Conference fee will be withheld.
Insurance
The WCCM 2026 Organising Secretariat cannot assume any responsibility for personal accident, loss or damage to the private property of participants and accompanying persons, which may either occur during or arise from the Conference. Participants should therefore take whatever steps they consider necessary as regards insurance.
VISA application form
According to our policy, we necessarily have to receive registration form first, duly filled in, before sending the VISA invitation letter.

Hotel accommodation (name, address and telephone number) – email of the Italian Embassy for your Country
Please contact in advance the Italian Embassy to verify if you need an invitation letter on our letterhead or if there is a specific form to follow.
Notice to participants – photos and videos
Without prejudice to all applicable provisions regarding photographs and video recordings taken in public places/events, AIM (Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia) informs all the participants that photographs and/or video recordings (of individuals, stands, products, trademarks, ppt slides in the Conference rooms, etc.) may be taken during the Event, also through photographers appointed by the Organiser.
Such materials may be used and reproduced on the Organiser’s official website, the journal La Metallurgia Italiana and/or social media channels.
The Organiser ensures that no use will be made in contexts prohibited by law or that could prejudice the decorum and/or dignity of the individuals portrayed. No compensation will be paid for the use of such materials.
For the purposes of this notice, Organiser jointly refers to AIM.
