For attendees who notify their cancellation <strong>after 10 April, 2026<\/strong>, or will not attend the Conference, a charge of 100% of the Conference fee will be withheld and a copy of the proceedings will be sent after the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EEC 2026 &amp; EMECR 2026 Organising Secretariat cannot assume any responsibility for personal accident, loss or damage to the private property of participants and accompanying persons, which may either occur during or arise from the Conference. Participants should therefore take whatever steps they consider necessary as regards insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VISA application form<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to our policy, we necessarily have to receive registration form first, duly filled in, before sending the VISA invitation letter.<br><em>Family &#8211; First name &#8211; Mr\/Mrs &#8211; birth date &#8211; passport number &#8211; arrival and departure dates &#8211; Nationality<br>Hotel accommodation (name, address and telephone number) &#8211; email of the Italian Embassy for your Country<\/em><br>Please contact in advance the Italian Embassy to verify if you need an invitation letter on our letterhead or if there is a specific form to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Notice to participants \u2013 photos and videos<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without prejudice to all applicable provisions regarding photographs and video recordings taken in public places\/events, AIM (Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia) and Siderweb S.p.A. SB (hereinafter, jointly, also referred to as \u201cOrganiser\u201d) inform all the participants that photographs and\/or video recordings (of individuals, stands, products, trademarks, ppt slides in the Conference rooms, etc.) may be taken during the Event, also through photographers appointed by the Organiser.<br>Such materials may be used and reproduced on the Organiser\u2019s official website, the journal La Metallurgia Italiana and\/or social media channels.<br>The Organiser ensures that no use will be made in contexts prohibited by law or that could prejudice the decorum and\/or dignity of the individuals portrayed.
